Secretary for Security (S for S) Mr Tang Ping-keung led a delegation from the Security Bureau to visit the Safe Community Hub on April 9 to try out the exhibition and interactive experiences designed by the six member departments of the Inter-departmental Counter Terrorism Unit (ICTU). Officers of ICTU also briefed the delegation on ICTU’s latest development.
ICTU launched the first experience centre with the theme of counter-terrorism at the Revenue Tower, Wan Chai in October last year. Within just six months of its launch, the Hub organised over 90 visits and engaged with more than 2 800 citizens from different sectors and age groups. Admission to the Hub is free.
