In recognition of the professionalism of the Report Room officers, Hong Kong Island (HKI) organised the Best Duty Officer (DO) Team Award 2023 Competition and the awards were presented on April 19. Four DO Teams were nominated from Districts to compete for the award, which was determined by the Regional Assessment Panel with reference to the positive feedback from members of the public, internal recognition and telephone manner, as well as Complaints Against Police Office record.
DO Team 4 of Western Division stood out among other DO Teams in HKI to become the Regional Best DO Team. DO Team 1 of Central District, DO Team 3 of Chai Wan Division and DO Team 1 of Wan Chai Division were awarded the District Best DO Teams respectively. Regional Commander of HKI Kwok Ka-chuen presented letters of compliment and certificates of appreciation to the award winners as encouragement.
