Operation Breakthrough organised the Inter-Police District Fight Crime Cricket Tournament on March 29. About 60 players from Operation Breakthrough, Project One World of Lantau District, Project Himalaya of Yuen Long District and Project Diversity of Tuen Mun District joined the tournament. In addition to competing fiercely among themselves, the four teams played against the police team. Eventually, the Operation Breakthrough team won the championship of the tournament.
The Fight Crime Fun Game Competition was also held that day to test teenagers’ anti-drugs and fight-crime knowledge. It was won by members from Project Himalaya.
The former chairman of Operation Breakthrough Glenn O’Neill, the Chief Imam of Kowloon Mosque and Islamic Centre Mr Mufti Muhammad Arshad and the Chairman of Operation Breakthrough David Jordan presented the prizes to all teams and the players winning best performance awards, as well as commending their active participation in the event.
