Narcotics Bureau (NB) held Narcotics Command Course 2024 between May 20 and 24, with participation of 27 drug-enforcement officers from the Narcotics Control Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security and various provinces across the Mainland and Macao.

When presiding over the opening ceremony, Chief Superintendent of NB Ng Wing-sze highlighted that two new elements were added to this year’s curriculum, i.e. a table-top exercise based on a real case and a mock court subsequent to the table-top exercise. The new sessions aimed to facilitate candid communication on investigation methods and judicial procedures among the three parties. Throughout the course, drug-enforcement officers proactively exchanged experience in combatting drug trafficking.
