PMP Recruitment Mega Express
The Recruitment Division (RECDIV) held the Police Mentorship Programme (PMP) Recruitment Mega Express for PMP mentees at the Police College on June 1 and 2. RECDIV received 330 applications from the mentees. Candidates went through the one-stop selection process, including group interview, physical fitness test and the newly added Recruit Police Constable Written Examination, Basic Law and National Security Law test. Candidates who had sterling performance in group interview could undergo final interview on the same day. Most candidates passed the tests. The successful candidates would be arranged for the final selection process, including the psychometric test, integrity checks and medical examination.
First ever psychometric test in Mainland
Superintendent of Recruitment Division (RECDIV) Chan Kit-fung organised and led two delegations to Guangdong and Fujian Provinces respectively from May 13 to 19 and from May 20 to 25 for recruiting Hong Kong students in the southern region of Mainland. For the first time, the delegates included clinical psychologists from the Psychological Service Group, alongside officers from the Police College and those graduated from Jinan University and Huaqiao University. The clinical psychologists were responsible for the newly introduced Psychometric Test during these tours for the students to equip themselves early so that they could join the Force soon after graduation.
RECDIV received 357 applications from Hong Kong students in the Mainland. RECDIV also recruited students for the Police Mentorship Programme (Mainland) to connect students who aspire to join the Force in the future.
