Owing to recent hiking incidents, Wong Tai Sin District (WTSDIST), together with officers of the Wong Tai Sin District Council, Wong Tai Sin District Office, Fire Services Department, Civil Aid Service and Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, as well as members of the Junior Police Call (JPC) of WTSDIST, publicised hiking safety messages at the Lion Rock Country Park near the Lion Pavilion on May 26. The officers distributed leaflets about hiking safety and souvenirs to citizens and disseminated various tips on hiking safety, including encouraging and assisting citizens to download the HKSOS app for emergent rescue.
