As part of Project RIDER and for further enhancing the training quality of auxiliary officers, the Auxiliary Support Bureau (AUX SUP) has introduced the Laser Simulation Tactics Training System for tactics training since April. The system provides trainees with the lifelike venue and ambiance of actual combats so that the officers may have greater degree of flexibility in training arrangement. Around 500 auxiliary officers have hitherto received tactics training conducted with the new system and given very positive feedback.
