The Police Choir joined seven choirs from Hong Kong and Shenzhen at the Yellow River Cantata Concert organised by the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra on May 24 and 25. The conductor Prof Chan Wing-wah led around 200 people to perform famous music pieces that praise the greatness of the Yellow River with euphonious voices.

The Police Choir was established in 1977. Comprising four voice sections of mixed voices for male and female members for a repertoire of Chinese and Western songs, it actively participates in community cultural events to promote the positive image of the Force. Regular rehearsal is held at the Police Sports and Recreation Club every Thursday evening. All officers and their family members, as well as civilian staff, are welcome to join. Please contact Law Ka-lai at 9874-8450 for further information.
