To enhance the understanding of electronic fixed penalty notices (FPNs) among members of the transport and logistics industry, the Traffic Branch Headquarters (TBHQ) organised four exchange sessions between July 15 and 17 to introduce the specific arrangements for the initial implementation of electronic FPNs and thoroughly demonstrate the functions of the eTraffic Ticket Platform (eTTP) to about 100 representatives from the taxi, public light bus, freight and passenger transport industries. The industry representatives expressed satisfaction with the functional design of eTTP and provided feedback, hoping that the platform could improve the efficiency of ticket handling.

It is anticipated that FPNs can be issued through electronic means next year. By then, the Force will simultaneously launch eTTP’s app and its dedicated website to tie in with the implementation.
