The Regional Crime Prevention Office of New Territories North (NTN) held an anti-deception event at a mall in Tin Shui Wai. Game booths were featured at the scene for citizens to learn about deception tactics and preventive measures. The event attracted many local and non-ethnic Chinese residents. Consul General Mr Yul Edison and Police Liaison Officer Ms Yuliana Ratih Damayanti of the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Hong Kong attended the event and went to Tin Shui Wai Park with NTN officers to distribute anti-deception pamphlets printed in Indonesian and explain common scams to the Indonesian helpers.
