The Senior Police Call (SPC) participated in the 9th Golden Age Expo and Summit between August 2 and 4, and established an exhibition booth at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. 24 SPC members from Kowloon City, Lantau and Tseung Kwan O Districts introduced the SPC Scheme to the elderly, promoted Scameter+, distributed anti-deception leaflets and recruited new members.

Regional Commander of Hong Kong Island cum Chairperson of the SPC Central Advisory Board (CAB) Kwok Ka-chuen and some SPC CAB members visited the exhibition booth to give their support, as well as promoting fraud prevention messages at the venue. Over 300 elderly people applied to join SPC on the spot during the Expo.
