The Police Chinese Wushu Club (Wushu Club) offered a martial art performance for the Kung Fu Corner held in Kowloon Park on August 6. Force officers and their family members, wushu class instructors and guests made nearly 40 performances, including lion dances, wushu shows and weapon demonstrations, gaining enthusiastic response from the audience.

The Kung Fu Corner performance, a free entertainment offered by the Chinese Martial Arts Dragon and Lion Dance Association of Hong Kong, China and the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, aims at promoting kung fu. Wushu Club has been supporting the activity for over 20 years, with a view to promoting Chinese culture and healthy lifestyle, as well as enhancing the communication between the Force and members of the public to project the Force’s positive image.
