The Study Programme for Mainland’s Public Security Bureau (PSB) officers was held between August 5 and 9. 25 officers from various provinces, cities and autonomous regions attended the programme. A representative of the Personnel Training Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security also joined the delegation for co-ordination.

The theme of the programme was “Handling of Major Event”, under which the delegates visited various operations and frontline formations for exchange with frontline officers to gain insight into the planning, risk assessment, manpower deployment and execution capability of counter terrorism-related missions. The Force has been proactively arranging law enforcement personnel from the Mainland to engage in in-depth exchange with our officers for safeguarding national security jointly.

The Mainland PSB officers are introduced the duties of the Counter Terrorism Response Unit.
