Deputy Regional Commander of New Territories North (NTN) Peter Whitton led officers to have a meeting with non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) leaders and representatives of Home Affairs Department to foster interchange on August 9. Prior to the meeting, the Emergency Unit and Quick Reaction Force of NTN showcased their equipment and shared with the attendees frontline police tasks. Officers introduced current crime trends, prevention measures and NEC community engagement initiatives during the meeting. Two Nepali sisters serving in the Patrol Sub-unit of Yuen Long Division were invited to share their career journeys in joining the Force and Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Force (HKAPF) respectively.
