To deepen the Force’s digital transformation, Chief Superintendent of the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB) Lam Cheuk-ho led a delegation of 19 officers from Crime Wing to visit Huawei’s Headquarters in Shenzhen on August 9. The delegation toured the Huawei Enterprise Digital Transformation Exhibition Hall and its computing innovation laboratory, as well as engaging in dialogues with Huawei’s technical experts on the application of AI and big data technologies to enhance the Force’s capabilities and efficiency in the area of criminal intelligence. This visit gave officers new insights into the challenges in digital transformation, their possible solutions and how to leverage the latest technologies to cope with business requests in the digital era.
CSTCB’s webinar
CSTCB conducted a webinar on August 30 for more than 500 members of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants Hong Kong to enhance their awareness of digital fraud and equip them with the necessary knowledge and AI tools to avoid becoming victims. Officers shared real-life cases and provided practical prevention advice during the webinar.
