Officers of Animal Watchers Programme (AWP) from Kowloon East, New Territories North and New Territories South Regions, together with Police interns, participated in the first International Asia Veterinary Conference and Exhibition at AsiaWorld-Expo between August 13 and 15. The officers introduced AWP to the local and overseas veterinary community, and shared experience on how to raise public awareness against animal cruelty. The organiser appreciated the Hong Kong Police Force’s publicity efforts and education work on animal protection all along, and encouraged members of the public to report suspected cases in a timely manner.
