The 10th Cross-disciplined Forces Training Programme for Ethnic Minority Youth (EM youth) was held at the Police College on August 22. The programme was organised by the Public Relations Wing, and supported and participated by various disciplined forces, including the Civil Aid Service, the Correctional Services Department, the Customs and Excise Department, the Fire Services Department, the Government Flying Service and the Immigration Department. The training programme, which was held as a day camp, was joined by 44 EM youths.

The training programme aimed to help EM youths integrate into society and establish positive values, as well as encouraging them to strive for their goals. The activities included discipline and teamwork training, mock physical fitness tests, a visit to the Tactical Training Complex, an introduction to riot police gear and trail running. Representatives of the disciplined services also introduced the work scope and entry requirements of their respective services for the participants to know more about the duties of disciplined forces.
