After being suspended for five years, the Inter-Forces Games resumed in Macao between August 27 and 30 to continue the friendship between the Singapore Police Force, the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) and the Macao Judiciary Police.

Commissioner Siu Chak-yee led a 78-member delegation to take part in the event with Deputy Commissioner (Management) Chan Joon-sun, Director of Crime and Security Yip Wan-lung, Chairman of the Police Sports Council Chan Sze-tat and other officers coming to cheer for HKPF athletes at the venue. HKPF extended its excellence with the championships in badminton and football, and first runners-up in the dragon boat race, achieving the overall champion of the game.
