Since the launch of the New Territories South (NTS) Project HomeSweetHome in July, anti-scam messages have been delivered successfully to over 260 000 households in public housing estates (PHE) in NTS through a variety of anti-scam activities. To further enhance the project's effectiveness, the Regional Crime Prevention Office of NTS (RCPO NTS), together with officers from Sha Tin, Tsuen Wan, Lantau, and Kwai Tsing districts, held anti-scam workshops for over 300 representatives from over 80 District Services and Community Care Teams (Care Teams) within NTS in August. The participants eagerly joined the “NTS Project HomeSweetHome Care Teams Anti-Crime Information Network” via messaging applications while downloading the Scameter+. They pledged to share anti-scam messages during their future community services and home visits.

Regional Commander of NTS (RC NTS) Mak Chin-ho, together with District Officer (Kwai Tsing) Mr Tang Huggin, District Commander of Kwai Tsing District (KWTDIST) Au Yeung Mun-yee, District Fight Crime Committee (Kwai Tsing District) Mr Lam Chor-chiu and KWTDIST Junior Police Call Honorary Presidents Council Chairman Mr Lau Hing-wah, along with the Kwai Tsing Care Teams and the RCPO NTS, visited 30 PHE households on September 7. They distributed care packages to the families to deliver anti-scam messages, reminding citizens to stay vigilant in their daily lives and avoid falling into scam traps. NTS also organised an anti-scam music concert on the same day to further raise the anti-scam awareness among citizens through singing and dancing performances.
