District Commander of Mong Kok District (MKDIST) Ng Chi-chung invited District Officer (Yau Tsim Mong) Mr Yu Kin-keung, Chairman of District Fight Crime Committee (Yau Tsim Mong District) (YTMDFCC) Mr Yang Si-kit and 16 committee members to visit MKDIST on September 13 to learn more about crime prevention and detection work in the district.

First, the officer-in-charge (OC) of District Intelligence Section of MKDIST gave a briefing on the results achieved by MKDIST as the first pilot site for the Territory-wide CCTV Installation Scheme in Hong Kong. The committee members then toured the operational base of Emergency Unit of Kowloon West, where the day-to-day policing and police equipment were introduced. Accompanied by OC of Special Duties Squad 4 of MKDIST, the committee members inspected an entertainment establishment in the District to understand its operatio

The committee members all agreed that the visit would enhance their understanding of police work and the District’s situation. MKDIST will continue organising relevant events timely to strengthen collaboration with YTMDFCC.
