Chief Inspector Cheng Chun-tung led a 20-member delegation of crime officers and officers from the Police Headquarters and Counter Terrorism Response Unit, along with ten representatives from Macao’s law enforcement departments, to participate in the Hong Kong and Macao Police Training and Exchange Programme in Guangdong Province held in Foshan and Jiangmen between September 23 and 28.

The delegation visited police service centres, police stations and an anti-drug education centre in Foshan and Jiangmen to learn about local strategies in dispute mediation, public services and publicity. Meanwhile, Jiangmen’s Vice Mayor Mr Feng Xiaogang shared his work experience with the delegates. The delegation also toured museums and historically significant sites to deepen the members’ understanding of national history and culture.
