Regional Commander of Kowloon East (KE) Dr Law Yuet-wing (centre, front row) presented retirement souvenirs, Clasps and Commanding Officer’s Commendations to over 170 officers at a presentation ceremony at KE Regional Headquarters on November 7. He praised the officers for their outstanding performance and contribution to the Force and KE.

ACP IS Kwan Chui-ching (centre) commends PCOs for their efforts and contribution to HKSOS at the 999 reporting centre.

Assistant Commissioner (Information Systems) (ACP IS) Kwan Chui-ching presented Commanding Officer’s Commendations to 77 officers, as well as Police Long Service Medals and Clasps, and Long and Meritorious Service Certificates to 11 Force and civilian officers on October 10 to commend the officers for their efforts in assembling a number of diverse digital tools and solutions.

In this ceremony, 14 Police Communication Officers (PCO) under the Information Systems Wing (ISW) were particularly awarded for their outstanding performance in supporting the emergency rescue app, HKSOS, at the 999 reporting centre. Their efforts successfully helped 107 citizens escape from emergencies between January and October.

ACP IS praised ISW officers, who had implemented various systems and services over the years to strengthen ISW’s overall capabilities in digital policing. She also thanked them for their efforts and contributions.
