The Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and Agency for Volunteer Service held the Hong Kong Volunteer Award Presentation Ceremony 2024 on December 10, 2024. Auxiliary (AUX) Police Constable (PC) of Tuen Mun Division (TMDIV) Lau Ming-fai was presented this year’s Heroic Volunteer Award in recognition of his rescue of a woman who attempted suicide at Tsing Yi South Bridge while off-duty on April 21, 2024.
