The Force has achieved a Gold Medal for CryptoTrace and a Silver Medal for Scameter series at the 4th Asia Exhibition of Innovations and Inventions Hong Kong. CryptoTrace, a cryptocurrency investigation platform developed collaboratively by Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB) and the University of Hong Kong, leverages blockchain technology to enable cybercrime investigators to trace crime proceeds. It is emerging as a powerful tool in the fight against cybercrime. The Scameter series combine a search engine, a mobile app and the banking alert system by means of open data technology to offer real-time scam detection.

These achievements affirm the Force’s excellence in advancing cyber policing. The Force will continue to combat cybercrime, ensuring a safer online environment for citizens.
