The Service Quality Wing renewed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on academic collaboration with the Department of Public and International Affairs (PIA) of the City University of Hong Kong (CityU) on January 14. The MoU was signed by Assistant Commissioner (Service Quality) Tsui Sheung-yee and Head of PIA Prof Hui Chi-man.

The MoU aimed to provide a credit-bearing Student Internship Programme for selected CityU undergraduates to engage in policing-related research or projects during a six-week internship. 27 undergraduates have hitherto participated in the programme, which will be extended to master degree students because of its positive feedback.
