Given that many recent fraud cases involve the insurance industry, the Commercial Crime Bureau (CCB) partnered with the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers (HKFI) to launch the anti-scam train-the-trainer course to promote anti-deception messages among the insurance industry.

Superintendent of CCB Lee Wai-see delivered training to 70 management representatives of insurance companies on December 9, 2024. The contents covered anti-scam messages and strategies. After their training, the representatives would conduct in-house continuing professional development course on anti-scam to their respective insurance companies’ staff in 2025.
