To tie in with the opening of the Kai Tak Sports Park (KTSP), the Operations of Kowloon East (KE), in collaboration with the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, Transport Department, MTR Corporation, special bus operators and KTSP Limited, has launched the Easy Leave website. It is a platform utilising AI technology for real-time data analysis to alleviate the pressure on public transportation caused by large crowds at the end of large-scale events. Easy Leave was first introduced in the stress test at KTSP on February 16, with over 10 000 people using it during the departure process.
With its AI technology, Easy Leave provides real-time walking time estimates for various routes and displays crowd density information. In addition to publishing real-time transportation information, the platform offers real-time information feed for users to acquire the latest updates. These features will enhance visitors’ departure efficiency to ensure smooth crowd flow and traffic after events for public safety.
