To strengthen the Command Cadre’s leadership and operational capabilities in public order policing, Senior Superintendents Justin Shave and Kwan Chung-yin went to Singapore between February 17 and 21 to attend the Public Order Response Force Commander Course organised by the Singapore Police Force. The course covered theories on different areas such as public order management. At the same time, practical exercises, scenario-based training, interactive discussion and table-top exercises were combined to enhance the participants’ decision-making and operational capabilities for managing complex public events and related challenges effectively.
