The Inter-departmental Counter Terrorism Unit (ICTU) held its first-ever Safe Community Roadshow at the shopping malls in Tuen Mun and Tseung Kwan O respectively over two consecutive weekends between February 15 and 23, attracting participation of over 12 200 citizens.

The roadshow featured six innovative interactive games and multiple photo spots. Through simulated real-life scenarios, citizens could enhance their understanding of key counter-terrorism messages such as “Spot and Report” and “Run, Hide, Report”, and master emergency skills. They could also learn using the WeChat mini-programme to report suspicious activities so that their awareness of security and self-protection skills would be further strengthened.
