Tai Po District organised an anti-scam promotion activity at the Hong Kong Well-wishing Festival in Lam Tsuen, Tai Po from January 29 to February 12. There were several set-ups using the Force’s anti-scam mascot “The Little Grape” as the theme at the venue, including a giant inflatable “The Little Grape”, a wishing corridor and divination sticks, aiming to spread anti-scam messages into the daily life of the public amid the joyful atmosphere of the Chinese New Year (CNY). In September 2024, Tai Po District organised an Anti-Scam Wishing Placard Design Competition which attracted over 2 000 entries from primary and secondary school students. The winning entries were showcased during the festival to enhance the anti-scam knowledge of the public.

On January 31, Commissioner Siu Chak-yee visited the site to meet with on-duty officers and interact with members of the public. The “Little Grapes Ambassadors” from Tai Po District also distributed anti-scam leaflets and souvenirs there to remind the public to stay alert.
