The Honorary College Advisor (HCA) Appointment Ceremony was held on February 24. On behalf of the Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner (Management) Chan Joon-sun presented appointment certificates to nine HCAs for extending their tenure for two years, and expressed his gratitude for their contributions to the Police College (College) and the Force over the last two years.
Deputy Commissioner (Operations) Chow Yat-ming also presented souvenirs for extending sincere thanks to the four HCAs who have been serving the College for over 18 years. They are former Commissioner Lee Ming-kwai, Dr Chan Tak-shing, Dr Chow Yuk-yin and Dr Au Wing-tung. Over the years, they have selflessly shared their valuable knowledge and professional experience, playing an important role in helping the College to shape the training and development strategies for police officers.
The HCA Scheme was introduced in 2006. There are currently 40 HCAs. The College is committed to continuing its collaboration with HCAs across various domains to enhance professional training and development capabilities.
