To meet the future operational needs, Marine (MAR) established a professional Small Unmanned Aircrafts (SUA) Training Team in February with the assistance and support from the Key Points and Search Division (KPS). The Region has been accredited by the Civil Aviation Department and KPS respectively to launch the Force Remote Pilot (Advanced Rating) Training Course for SUA and the Force Remote Pilot (Qualification) Training Course.

The first batch of trainees trained by MAR completed the aforementioned training courses and obtained the necessary qualifications on March 6, and became Police Remote Pilots officially. The Region plans to further expand the scale of the MAR SUA Team and enhance the Region’s operational capabilities by launching more courses.
