Force pays tribute to Sir Shiu Kin The annual Display of the Mace Ceremony in memory of the late Sir Shiu Kin Tang was held at the Police Training School Officers' Mess on June 16. Commissioner of Police Eddie Hui, Director of Personnel and Training Leung Fung-shun, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Training) Yip Kwok-keung and PTS Commandant Wong Pak-nin attended the function along with scores of officers of various ranks. Sir Shiu Kin's widow Lady May, along with his children Richard and Yvonne, also attended and Mr Hui said Sir Shiu Kin made a remarkable contribution to help the Force improve the welfare of its staff. The mace, made of pure silver was donated by Lady May and has been carried by the Drum Major of the Police Band on all important ceremonial parades since 1987.
