Hot conditions leave Police competition sweating bullets The sharp-eyed Police team continued its domination of the Disciplined Services Shooting Competition, taking out four top categories in the latest round on May 23.
Organised by the Customs and Excise, Fire Services and Immigration departments at the Kau To Shan Disciplined Services Shooting Association Range, the popular event proved one of the toughest so far. The Police Team said the course of fire was one of the most complicated and challenging it had ever encountered and was made tougher by the hot conditions and glaring sun on the day. However, the team overcame the hindrances, remaining superior winning the titles for Best Team, Best Individual (Chief Inspector Auxiliary Police Edgar Yang), Best Ladies' (Woman Senior Inspector Cheung Tin-yee), and Best Revolver (Woman Police Constable Lui Siu-chong). All said after the event they enjoyed the round despite the tough conditions, and were looking forward to the next. << Back to Index >> |
