Central Officers Praised (The following letter was sent to the Commissioner of Police.) It is with immense gratitude that I am writing this letter. My daughter, Heidi, fainted at Pacific Place on June 21. We called an ambulance to take her to Queen Mary Hospital. Two police officers were alerted to this incident and came to our assistance. Obviously they came to the scene immediately and ran all the way as both were perspiring because of the heat. They showed great concern about the safety of my daughter, which in my view goes well beyond their call of duty. I was most grateful for their assistance. Hong Kong should be very proud to have such outstanding and dedicated police officers. They did not give me their names but fortunately I wrote down their numbers. They are officer A6816 and officer 34116. I would be most grateful if you could convey my thanks to these two police officers and let them know that their deeds are always highly appreciated, although not always openly.
