Pride in Hung Hom Officers
(The following letter was sent to the CP)
Our former sales representative fled two years ago with dozens of taels of gold ornaments valued at some $500,000 which were supposed to be sold to our customers. He was later arrested by the Police when he returned to Hong Kong.
My sincere thanks go to Hung Hom Detective Inspector Cheng Hung as well as Detective Sergeant Yu Kai-fai and Detective Senior Police Constable Chung Chi-ming who were at pains to solve the case and prepare ample documents for the court hearings which resulted in the defendant"s jailing for one year and nine months in April.
Hong Kong people have been seeing more and more capable and smart police officers with utmost dedication and professionalism under your leadership which I think should make us feel proud.
