Speaking at a passing-out parade at the Police Training School on August 14, Secretary for Financial Services Rafael Hui Si-yan said a clean and efficient Police Force was the cornerstone of Hong Kong's success.
He said the rigorous enforcement action of the law had been the key to the maintenance of good order and the stable investment environment, upon which citizens could excel themselves and the community could prosper.
A total of 23 probationary inspectors and 147 police constables graduated on the day.
