High calibre: Police Shooting Team members pose with Police Sports Council Chairman Lionel Lam Kin and Vice-Chairman Wong Doon-yee | The Hong Kong Police Shooting Team took out two top women's titles at the National Gong An Shooting Competition in Tai Yuen City, Shanxi. The Hong Kong Police ladies team won the First Runner-up slot in the Duelling Section, while Woman Police Constable Wong Tung-nei won the Second Runner-up prize in the individual category of the same section. The nine-member troupe, led by Superintendent Cheng See-hing, put up some tough competition in the event held last month, up against 33 teams of shooters from across the Mainland and Macau. Date with a '38: A team member fires off another round | Other members of the Hong Kong delegation included coach Luk Kam-shing, Chief Inspector Sham Wai-hong, Sergeant Lo Kin-yip, Police Constable Ng Yan-kit, as well as Woman Senior Inspector Cheung Tin-yee and WPCs Chan Tak-ni and Lui Siu-chong. After the competition, the competitors were treated to a sight-seeing tour of the city and also visited Beijing on their way back.
