Yau Ma Tei staff go health
"Qi gong' classes for beginners were held weekly by renowned qi gong master Cheung Man-choi in a local community centre. The martial art not only improved officers' fitness but might have also assisted in the arrest of a criminal or two! Staff also enjoyed a night of fishing for cuttlefish off Sai Kung and Clear Water Bay. Their catch of over 200 fresh cuttlefish were quickly cooked up and gulped down, prepared right on the deck of the boat under a beautiful moon-lit sky, the perfect cuttlefish-catching environment! About 130 staff and family took part in the trip which included a seafood dinner in Sai Kung.
Some 63 staff competed in a host of sports including bowling, table tennis and badminton. The events included both singles and doubles categories. Yau Tsim Assistant District Commander Yeung On-leung, and Yau Ma Tei Divisional Commander Cheung Tak-keung presented the trophies. |
