Officers nab material meddler
 SSPO officers receive their silver plates of thanks |
A fabric retailer presented appreciative silver plates to Sham Shui Po officers on August 17 for recovering $300,000 in stolen material.
Lau Wing-chak, who ran the Sham Shui Po textile shop, reported the March theft and investigations saw the quick arrest of the culprit and the goods recovered. The arrested person was convicted and sentenced to three years' imprisonment in July.
