Volunteers show their 'X'cellence

Twenty-nine Lingnan University students recently graduated as volunteers of youth outreach programme Project X.
A ceremony was held at the University in Tuen Mun on November 17 after the volunteers successfully completed training covering crime and services provided by various government departments.
The Project, a joint venture involving Tuen Mun District Fight Crime Committee, Tuen Mun District, the University and other youth organisations, was launched in 1997 aimed at steering the District's youngsters in a healthy direction in life.
Convenor of the Tuen Mun DFCC Project X Working Group, Mak Kam-wah, University President Professor Edward Chen, New Territories North Regional Commander Ng Wai-kit and Acting District Commander of Tuen Mun Lai Yuen-wing, officiated at the ceremony.
