Western youth seminar
 DC Barry Griffin presents souvenirs to seminar guests at PTS |
Western District held its second seminar on juvenile delinquency at the Police Training School on November 25, looking at the causes and ways of prevention.
Western District Commander Barry Griffin and Southern District Fight Crime Committee chairman Ko Tam-kan joined about 140 participants including SDFCC members, school principals, teachers, parents, officials from the Education and Social Welfare Departments, along with representitives from volunteer organisations.
The seminar featured lectures on special topics, group discussions and experience sharing. Two rehabilitated youngsters also gave accounts of their own stories.
