Supported by the Police Adventure Club and the Hong Kong Mountaineering Union, the event is being organised by charity group Raleigh International and will raise funds for local youth development.

The event will cover 30 to 45 kilometres and participants will have to carry equipment such as camping gear.

It's open to 150 teams and each is required to raise funds of at least $1,200 to $2,000 depending on the category entered. Anyone aged 18 or above is eligible to form teams to enter the Open, Women's, Veteran or Exploration category.
