 DC C Mike Francis distributes road safety bits n'bobs in Admiralty |
Central and Western Districts helped boost road safety awareness on December 11 distributing leaflets and souvenirs.
They joined the Central and Western District Road Safety Campaign Committee for the safety drive meeting pedestrians at numerous locations including Pedder Street, the junction of Smithfield and Forbes Street, and outside Admiralty MTR Station. Drivers were also approached and advised not to drink and drive during the festive season.
Participants included Central District Commander Mike Francis, Central and Western District Road Safety Ambassador Lilian Ho Ka-lee, campaign committee members, the Road Safety Patrol, the Junior Police Call and boy scouts.
