C PTU Ng Man-kim presents the cheques to ACP OPS Cheung Chi-shum

A whopping $45,300 was raised during the recent Police Tactical Unit Headquarters charity sports day which attracted some 700 participants.

Instructors and officers of Charlie, Delta and Echo Companies, battled it out to raise cash for the Police Children's Education Trusts.

The events included ball and other games, along with a climactic Saxon-pulling competition officiated by Assistant Commissioner of Police (Operations) Cheung Chi-shum.

It was the meticulous PTU HQ instructors who eventually took out the day's proceedings, topped-off by PTU Commandant Ng Man-kim presenting the cheque to Mr Cheung to pass on to the Personnel Services Branch.
