Time to get paddling as the Millennium Year (Year of the Dragon) Land Rowing Competition is set to take place at 10 am, February 26 in the Tin Shui Wai Police Station compound.
Teams of four will cover eight kilometres each on the mechanised rowing machines. Each team member will cover two kilometres, with the team scoring the best aggregate time from each rower crowned the winners. Teams will compete in two categories: New Territories North - including Border, Yuen Long, Tuen Mun and Tai Po Districts, and NTN HQ; and, Open Invitation - for all other formations.
Numerous prizes are up for grabs so get your entries in quick as the event is limited to 25 teams only. Entry deadline is February 10 and there's an $80 fee per team. Enquires: contact Chim Fuk-hoi on 2448-5210.
