Home help for late officer's family

I am the widow of the late Sergeant Kung Kwok-cheung who passed away more than a year ago after an illness. According to regulations, my two young children and I had to move out from our quarters after his death and I had no idea how to solve our housing problem at the time.

Fortunately, officers at the Kowloon West Regional Welfare Office and representatives of the Junior Police Officers' Association came to my assistance and presented my case to Force management. With their help, a public housing unit was recently allocated to my family. My children and I now have a place to live.

I am writing this letter to thank the Regional Welfare Office officer-in-charge Kwan Tat-kam, Woman Senior Inspector Lee Siu-mei, Sergeant Yim Kwok-wing and Police Constable Li Tat-chi for their care and assistance. My thanks also go to JPOA Welfare Committee's Tsang Tung-sau and Tsui Wing-yu for their help.
