Some 14 officers were presented Force Colours Awards for Sports by Commissioner Eddie Hui Ki-on at the Police Officers' Club on February 29 for their outstanding performances over the past year.
The recipients were Sergeant Cheung Wai-leung (adventure), Woman SGT Wong Yin-yee and Police Constable Chan Man-for (athletics), Chief Inspector Hui Chun-tak and Senior Communications Officer Lai Mei-wah (badminton), Senior Inspector Cheng Hon-lung (judo), PC Chan Chi-keung (karate), Superintendent Rod Colson and Senior PC Yau Chin-wah (rugby), SGT Chan Wai-che (shooting), SP Chung Chuen and SGT Iu Cheung-chun (table tennis) as well as IP Lee Wing-cheung and WSGT Au Suk-yee (tennis). Mr Hui also presented the Watson Cup to sportsperson of the year, tenpin bowler DSPC Lok Sui-ching, and the Purdon Shield to sportiest formation Sham Shui Po District.
