ISW welcomes spring with Mess reception

The Information Systems Wing held its Spring Reception on March 24. Some 170 staff and 80 guests from the Information Technology industry attended the function held in the Senior Officers' Mess in Police Headquarters.
After a welcome speech from Assistant Commissioner of Police (Information Services) Peter Halliday, guests of honour Deputy Commissioner (Operations) Peter Wong Tsan-kwong and Director of Management Services Douglas Lau Yuk-kuen, assisted in the roast pig cutting ceremony. They also wished all a happy and prosperous Year of the Dragon. Mr Halliday later presented a promotion letter to Fong Siu-chuen marking his rise to Station Sergeant.
The function also featured a host of other treats including a traditional dance performance by school students and music from the Police Chinese Culture Club orchestra.
A computerised lucky draw was also held using some of ISW's technology.
