PC Picasso

Police portrait: PC Chung Fat-kin with one of his works at the exhibition

Police Constable Chung Fat-kin recently showcased his painting prowess at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre in an exhibition titled Seek Yourself in Drawing.

The Support officer from New Territories South Regional Headquarters and 20 art-student colleagues, known as Talented Art House, exhibited their works throughout February.

Interested in art since an early age, he started painting a decade ago creating his own beautiful designs and has just completed an 18-month water colour painting course run by Chinese University, boosting his creativity.

On a permanent quest for perfection and realism, PC Chung said he obtains tremendous satisfaction from reality painting. His numerous works displayed at the exhibition satisfied his aspirations and earned hefty praise from painting masters, generating a lot of feedback. He said the delight he felt inside from sharing his artistic visions with others was indescribable.

The budding Picasso was now busy preparing works for another exhibition at the end of the year.
